Last week we talked about Tea Drops, so I thought I'd share my new ginger tea recipe. It's so easy it can't really even be called a recipe, but it's not only delicious but also helpful with digestion, managing blood sugar and a bunch of other benefits for just a few cents per cup!
First, brew your water like you normally would, whether it's on the stove, in a kettle, what have you. Once your tea is boiling, either stir in some powdered ginger or use a ginger tea bag (that's what I do) and let it steep for at least 10 minutes. Once it's finished, add in 2 Tbsp. of apple cider vinegar, which is where most of the health benefits come from. Sprinkle in 1/4 tsp. of cream of tartar (it's flavorless but adds potassium!) and your favorite sweetener or honey. That's it! The result is a delightfully tangy, slightly fizzy tea that will warm you up and get your tummy working well in no time.
