Give Your Drink Some Flair

Dress up your cocktails

We often lament how pricey drinks at restaurants can be, but they are sooo good. Why are they better than the drinks we make at home? Sure, they are often made with premium ingredients, but sometimes it's just a matter of the garnish. If you take the time to dress up your drink, you might be surprised at how good it tastes, even when it's made at home!

Have you considered, for example, lining the rim of your drink with something like salt, sugar or even pop rocks! That would certainly liven it up a bit. How about adding in some fresh fruit or vegetables into your cocktail? From bitters to cotton candy, lime wedges to coarse salt, the right garnish can really amp up your drink to the sophistication level that you crave from a restaurant-quality counter-drink!

What kinds of garnishes have you come up with at home? Share with us your inspiring ideas!
