Holiday Candles are Arriving

The holiday candles are arriving and it's getting hard for even those of us who aren't yet ready to let go of Halloween to snub our noses at an early Christmas. These days, we'll take the magic when we can get it, and those smells sure do bring on the holidays for many of us. I'm not about to break out the Mariah Carey just yet, but that peppermint marshmallow sure does have me thinking about it!

Russia Sent A Film Crew To The International Space Station To Shoot A Commercial Movie

     A Russian actress and a Russian director arrived at the International Space Station on Tuesday. They are starting a twelve-day mission to make the first commercial movie in orbit. The Russia crew is set to beat a Hollywood project announced last year by Tom Cruise, NASA and SpaceX. Actress Ylia Peresild, 37, and film director Shipenko, 38, took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

     A five-year test program of the patented Surface Access Borehole Resource Extraction (SABRE) has just been completed by Denison Mines Corporation and Orano Canada Inc. The SABRE is an innovative mining method that could be used to access high-grade ore bodies that are either too small or too deep to be mined economically using conventional methods.
