Oregon Food Bank CEO Susannah Morgan says that after seeing so many people affected by Covid and needing help with getting enough food, the resource is going to make it a priority to address the root causes of food insecurity now. Morgan points out that it's not access to food that people need; it's the eradication of systemic poverty, racial and economic injustice and lack of both physical and mental healthcare.

Three companies, including Lunar Outpost, Honeybee Robotics, and Masten Space Systems, are developing a novel system aimed at mining water ice from the moon with rockets. The project was recently announced in a blog post shared on Masten's official website.
